How to Play Shekere

- Please come join us for a fun-filled time learning how to play shekere: a very easy technique that is fun to learn on this instrument.
- After learning the basic technique, I will teach you some entry level patterns in different rhythms 6/8 and 4/4 and samba in 2/4. I will also teach you some tricks and different textures of sound on the shekere.

Shekeres will be available for participating students When: June 8th 4-6pm
Where: Worcester pop up - 20 Franklin St. Worcester

- If registration exceeds 15 students, then a second class will begin from 6-8pm same day.
- Class will be $25.00 with a 20% discount for students with an active or current student I.D.
- I have created many shekere workshops and clinics, the most notable being in the percussion department at the Berklee School of Music and Alan Tauber’s Drum Connections
