This event will be a part of APW's World AIDS day 2018 Celebration and it inspired by The Day Without Art campaigns in the late 1980s and Early 1990s. It was a way of raising awareness about the AIDS Crisis and its impact on the LGBTQ Community and the ART Community by extension. The evening event will be hosted by APW staff, with light refreshment provided and entertainment. Spoken word and art displays.
APW invites the public to an intimate evening at the Worcester Pop Up with Art. As we recognize World AIDS day week, we want to celebrate and reflect on the role art has placed in the fight against HIV/AIDS, the Survival of People Living with HIV/AIDS and aid in the recovery of many. There will be a display of two pieces by Charles Shields, along with Client art and HIV timeline inspired pieces. Refreshment will be provided and it free to the public.
